Who they were
In the Veneto, commemoration of Saint Magnus, bishop, who is said to have left the city of Oderzo with a large part of his flock because of the Lombard invasion, founding the new city of Heraclea, and to have built eight churches in Venice.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 6 October as a bishop said to have led his flock from Oderzo to found Heraclea.
