Who they were

In North Africa, commemoration of the holy martyrs of the Vandal persecution, who, under the Arian king Huneric, were subjected to terrible and countless torments for having defended the Catholic faith; to their company belong the martyrs Dionysia and Majoricus, her son, who, still a child, frightened by the tortures but comforted by his mother's look and words, became even braver than the others and gave up his soul amid the torments.

The miracles

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

Why that counted as sanctity

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 6 December as the child who, comforted by the look and the words of his mother Dionysia, grew braver than his companions and died amid the torments of the Vandal persecution.
