Manuel Valvidia Chica was a diocesan priest, born at Martos on 13 September 1893 and assistant parish priest of Santa María in Martos, who was killed on 13 January 1937 at the age of 44. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
