Why that counted as sanctity
Her heroic virtues were recognised on 2 July 1994, so she is Venerable; the Diocese of Salamanca calls her 'la declarada Venerable' and records that she founded the Poor Clare monastery of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at Cantalapiedra on 31 May 1920. The cause was handled by the Diocese of Salamanca; the monastery church was made a diocesan shrine of the Sacred Heart in 2025.
