Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that she was born at Cabra in the province of Cordoba on 25 March 1891, was a pupil from 1899 of the college the Daughters of Mary of the Pious Schools had founded in her home town, and made her religious profession at Carabanchel on 11 December 1911; she taught at Carabanchel, at Santa Victoria in the province of Cordoba and at Madrid from 1922 until 1936, and from 1935 was superior of the college. She was beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The decree says she carried out her teaching work with skill and with full care for her pupils and former pupils.
