María de la Concepcion Pérez Giral was born at Madrid on 10 January 1887, made her religious vows as a Daughter of Charity of St Vincent de Paul in 1924 and served as a teacher. She was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis, among the companions of Melchora de la Adoracion Cortés Bueno.
