Who they were
A young member of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate at Degollado, Jalisco, killed on Christmas Eve 1917; she and her companions are known as the martyrs of Degollado, or 'Las Quemaditas'. The Hagiography Circle gives her birth as 16 May 1892; santiebeati.it gives 14 May 1892 and is followed here.

Why that counted as sanctity
The diocese of San Juan de los Lagos opened an informative inquiry on 29 May 1956 to establish whether their deaths were martyrdom in defence of chastity, and the Holy See granted the nulla osta on 12 October 1995.
