Who they were
Abbess of her monastery, she was born at Pamplona on 3 March 1870 and made her profession on 29 January 1894. Pope Francis beatified her with María del Carmen Lacaba Andía and her thirteen companions on 22 June 2019.
The miracles
As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The decree on martyrdom counts her among the professed nuns killed out of hatred for the faith in 1936.
