Who they were
After twenty years of apostolate across Spain she began taking in children in Málaga and Córdoba, work recognised by the Church of Córdoba in 1978 as Hogar de Nazaret, now present in Spain, Ecuador, Peru and the Dominican Republic.

Why that counted as sanctity
The Dicastery for the Causes of Saints granted the nulla osta on 5 September 2023 and the Bishop of Cádiz opened her cause of beatification and canonization on 24 February 2024.
