Maria Enrichetta Dominici

Who they were
Anna Caterina Dominici was born at Carmagnola on 10 October 1829; her father abandoned the family when she was four. In 1850 she entered the Sisters of St Anne and of Providence, founded by the Marquis and Marchioness Falletti di Barolo.
In 1855 at Castelfidardo she nursed the victims of a cholera epidemic. As superior general she governed the institute wisely for thirty years, until her death, and it grew under her.
