Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that she was born at Bujalance in the province of Cordoba on 25 August 1887, entered the novitiate at Carabanchel in 1916 and professed on 31 March 1918, and that she spent most of her religious life in Cuba from 1920 to 1934 before returning to the girls of the college at Valencia; she said on several occasions that martyrdom awaited her. She was beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The decree says she was always cheerful and serene, to the admiration of her fellow sisters, and spoke of the martyrdom she expected.
