Maria Theresia Haze
Belgian Religious Sister and foundress, beatified

Who they were
Marie-Thérèse Haze was born in Liège on 27 February 1782 to a comfortable, devout family, which soon had to flee the French Revolution. After her parents died and some sisters married, she was left alone with her sister Ferdinande.
She founded the Daughters of the Cross to serve the weak and the poor, and died almost a hundred years old on 7 January 1876.
The miracles
A miracle attributed to her intercession was approved on 22 January 1991; the biography does not describe it.
