Born at Tepic in Mexico to an English diplomat father and a Spanish mother and educated in Madrid, she was co-founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity and led it through years of opposition.

Why that counted as sanctity
The diocesan inquiry was held in Madrid in 2000 and Pope Francis declared her Venerable on 21 May 2022.
