Who they were
Mariano López-Cepero y Muru was born at Cazalla de la Sierra near Seville on 24 January 1883, was married and the father of nine children, and was deputy mayor of his town. He was killed on 5 August 1936. Pope Francis beatified him on 18 November 2023.
