Who they were

The Roman Martyrology for 9 July names her among the blessed virgins and martyrs put to death at Orange in France during the French Revolution, giving her name in the world as Marie-Anne Marguerite de Rocher. The Acta Apostolicae Sedis record that Pope Pius XI beatified the thirty-two women killed at Orange in July 1794 on 10 May 1925.
