Who they were
At Valenciennes, again in France, Blessed Marie-Natalie de Saint-Louis (Marie-Louise-Josèphe) Vanot and four companions, virgins of the Order of Saint Ursula and martyrs, who, condemned to death during the French Revolution out of hatred for the Catholic faith, climbed the scaffold reciting the psalm Miserere.
Among those named is Blessed Marie-Ursule de Saint-Bernardin (Jacqueline-Augustine-Gabrielle) Bourla, a virgin of the Order of Saint Ursula.

As a martyr she was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 17 October among the Ursuline virgins of Valenciennes put to death in the French Revolution out of hatred for the Catholic faith.
