Mario Ferdinandi, born at Todi, graduated in law at twenty-one and was made a criminal judge of the tribunal of Perugia at twenty-nine; he died of illness at thirty.

Why that counted as sanctity
The cause was opened in the diocese of Orvieto-Todi, with the nihil obstat in 1979 and the diocesan process beginning in 1980. He is buried in the sanctuary of the Madonna del Campione at Todi beside his sister Teresa, also a Servant of God.
