Who they were
In the city of Taiyuan in the province of Shanxi, also in China, the passion of Saints Gregory Grassi and Francis Fogolla, bishops of the Order of Friars Minor, and twenty-four companions, martyrs, who during the persecution by the followers of the Boxer sect were killed out of hatred for the name of Christ.
Among those named is Saint Mary Clara Nanetti, a religious of the Institute of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary.
