Who they were
At Jerusalem, Saints Xenophon and Mary and their sons John and Arcadius, who, having given up senatorial rank and great possessions, are said to have embraced the monastic life in the Holy City with equal ardour of soul.

There was never a formal cause: she has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers her on 26 January as the wife of Xenophon, who gave up rank and wealth and took up the monastic life at Jerusalem.
