Archbishop Christian Delarbre solemnly opened the diocesan process on the life, heroic virtues and reputation for holiness of Maurice Blondel at the church of Saint-Jean-de-Malte in Aix-en-Provence on 4 June 2025, the 76th anniversary of his death, and he was then officially recognised as a Servant of God.
