Who they were
In Brittany in France, Saint Maurice, abbot first of the Cistercian monastery of Langonnet and then of that of Carnoët, which he founded, where he rested with a reputation for holiness.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 29 September as a Cistercian abbot of Langonnet who founded Carnoët.
