Who they were
The commemoration of Saint Micah, prophet, who in the time of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, by his preaching defended the oppressed, condemned idols and injustices, and foretold to the chosen people that the king promised from the most distant days would be born in Bethlehem of Judah, to shepherd Israel with the strength of the Lord.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 21 December as the prophet who in the days of the kings of Judah defended the oppressed, condemned idols and injustice, and foretold that the promised king would be born in Bethlehem of Judah.
