Who they were
Near Munich in Bavaria in Germany, Blessed Michał Woźniak, priest and martyr, who, from Poland occupied by a regime hostile to human dignity and to the faith, was transferred to the prison camp of Dachau and, subjected to torture, passed to the glory of heaven.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 16 May as a Polish priest and martyr who died under torture at Dachau.
