French Oblate of Mary Immaculate who spent fifty-three years as a missionary in Ceylon
Who they were
Father Alexandre Guillaume joined the Oblates of Mary Immaculate in 1897 and was sent to Ceylon, where he worked in eleven assignments for the archdiocese of Colombo until his death, and became a spiritual father to many priests and religious. They give his death as 21 May 1951, where the Hagiography Circle record says 29 May 1951.

Why that counted as sanctity
The Holy See granted the nihil obstat for the diocesan inquiry in 1986, with the archdiocese of Colombo as petitioner; the Oblates list him among their causes at diocesan level as Servant of God.
