Who they were

Born to a noble family at Marigliano, he entered the Franciscan novitiate in 1829 and was ordained in 1834, spending his life in Naples. Santi e Beati gives his birth year as 1811, against the 1812 recorded by the Hagiography Circle.

The miracles

No miracle has been approved. The decree on heroic virtues has been promulgated; a miracle would come next.

Why that counted as sanctity

The cause opened in Naples in 1908 and the decree on his heroic virtues was promulgated on 15 March 2008.

The cause

The cause continues. No postulation address is published here yet. Favours received through this person’s intercession, and offers of help, are best sent to the religious order or congregation they belonged to, or to the diocese where the cause was opened; either will pass them to the postulation.

A miracle approved by the Holy See is needed for the next step. If you know the postulation’s own page, tell us and it will be added here.
