Michele Peiró Victori

Who they were
Miguel Peiró Victori was born at Aiguafreda, in the diocese of Vic, on 7 February 1887. He married Francisca Ribas Roger in 1915, joined the Third Order of Saint Dominic, and worked in a textile factory, known for his honesty and his open profession of the Catholic faith.
On the night of 24 July 1936 he was arrested by militiamen; he said goodbye to his wife with the words that they would meet in heaven, and was killed at once. He was beatified in 2007 with Antero Mateo García and ten other Dominican companions.
