Who they were
Miguel Codina Ventayol, born at Villa de Artés, near Barcelona, on 8 November 1909, entered the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) in 1924, made his profession on 31 August 1926 and was ordained a priest on 26 May 1934.
He was killed at Malla, near Barcelona, on 12 October 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
