Who they were
Brother Anselmo Pablo (Miguel Solas del Val) was born at Briviesca, in the province of Burgos, on 8 May 1890, and made his perpetual profession as a Brother of the Christian Schools in 1919. He held various teaching posts and belonged to the Brothers' community at their Madrid procure. He was killed on 30 July 1936, one of the six Brothers who died with Brother Agustín María García Tribaldos.
Pope Benedict XVI declared him a martyr in 2011, and he was beatified at Tarragona on 13 October 2013 with his companions.

Why that counted as sanctity
One of sixteen De La Salle Brothers killed in Madrid in the religious persecution of 1936-1937, beatified as martyrs in 2013.
