Who they were
Miroslav Bulešić was born on 13 May 1920 in the Istrian hamlet of Čabrunići, parish of Svetvinčenat, and after secondary school chose to study for the priesthood.
A Croatian diocesan priest, he was cruelly killed in northern Istria in 1947 simply for carrying out his priestly ministry.
