Who they were
The Dicastery for the Causes of Saints records that he lived with his wife and five children in the same house as his elder brother Francesco, and went daily to the convent of Saint Paul both to pray and to teach in the local boys' school.
Ready to shed his blood for Christ, as he taught in his catechism lessons, he did not hesitate to offer his life in the name of the faith.
He was beatified on 10 October 1926 by Pope Pius XI and canonised on 20 October 2024 by Pope Francis.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
He taught in the boys' school at the convent of Saint Paul and gave his life for the faith he had taught.
