Who they were
Narciso Simón Sala, born at Fornells de la Selva, near Girona, on 9 March 1908, made his religious profession as a lay brother in the Congregation of the Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (the Claretians) on 15 August 1934.
He was killed at Cervera on 19 October 1936, and Pope Francis beatified him with his companions on 21 October 2017.
