Who they were
Néstor Eugenio Ortega Villamudrio, named Ctesiphons in the world by the decree, was born at Arlanzón near Burgos on 10 April 1912, made his religious vows on 8 September 1931 and died a martyr on 2 January 1937 at the place the decree names in Latin as Blendium. He was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
