Who they were
At Gaza in Palestine, the holy martyrs Eusebius, Nestabus and Zeno, brothers: in the time of the emperor Julian the Apostate they were set upon by a crowd of pagans, torn to pieces and killed.
Saint Nestor also suffered martyrdom with them, who because of the wounds he received brought his struggle to an end shortly afterwards.
The miracles
There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 21 September as a martyr at Gaza who died shortly afterwards of the wounds he received.
