Who they were
At Ceuta in the territory of present-day Morocco, the passion of seven holy martyrs of the Order of Friars Minor, Daniel, Samuel, Angelo, Leo, Nicholas and Ugolino, priests, and Domnus, who, sent by Brother Elias to preach the Gospel of Christ to the Moors, having suffered insults, prison and torture, finally won the palm of martyrdom by beheading.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 10 October among seven Franciscan friars beheaded at Ceuta after preaching the Gospel to the Moors.
