Who they were
Noah Mawaggali served the chief Mukwenda in preparing his meals and shone with Christian virtue. He was baptised on 1 November 1885.
Speared by men King Mwanga sent to destroy the houses of Christians, he died on 31 May 1886, aged about thirty. He is one of the 22 martyrs of Uganda, St Charles Lwanga, St Matthias Mulumba Kalemba and companions, put to death under King Mwanga.
