At Urgell in Catalonia in Spain, Saint Ot, bishop, who, while still a layman, was elected by the acclamation of the people and afterwards confirmed; he defended the lowliest and showed himself kind to all.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.
