Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that he was born at Vilet de Maldá in the province of Tarragona in 1864, was ordained priest in 1888 and then entered the Society of Jesus, taking his last vows in 1904, and served as minister or bursar in several houses. He was killed on 29 September 1936; the Roman Martyrology commemorates him at Valencia as a priest of the Society of Jesus and martyr. He was beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.
