Who they were
Carlo Antonio Divini was born at San Severino Marche on 1 March 1653, was orphaned young and raised by his uncle, archdeacon of the cathedral. At seventeen he joined the Friars Minor as Brother Pacificus.
A priest of the order, vicar of the San Severino friary and then at Forano, he alternated prayer and a long, tireless apostolate, outstanding for penance, love of solitude and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
