Who they were

At Seoul in Korea, the holy martyrs Paul Hong Yŏng-ju, catechist, John Yi Mun-u, who served the poor and buried the bodies of the martyrs, and Barbara Ch'oe Yŏng-i, who, following the example of her parents and husband, killed for the name of Christ, was beheaded together with the others.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 1 February as a Korean catechist beheaded at Seoul for Christ.
