Who they were
At Valencia in Spain, Blessed martyrs John of Perugia, priest, and Pedro de Sassoferrato, religious, both of the Order of Minors, who, for having preached the faith among the Moors of Valencia, were beheaded by order of the king in the public square, receiving the palm of martyrdom.
