Pedro Marín Martos was a priest, born at Bedmar and ordained in 1925, who held a benefice in the cathedral of Guadix and was killed in the cemetery of Bedmar on 31 August 1936. He was beatified on 13 December 2025 by Pope Leo XIV among the 124 martyrs of Jaén.
