Who they were
Pedro Ruiz de los Paños y Ángel (1881-1936) was a priest of the Brotherhood of Diocesan Worker Priests of the Heart of Jesus and founder of the Sisters Disciples of Jesus.
He led the nine members of the Brotherhood who, after working to form future priests in seminaries in Spain and Mexico, were martyred in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War.
