Pedro Simón Ferrero was a student of philosophy, aged 20, named in the Dicastery's list of the martyrs of the cause of Avelino Rodríguez Alonso, ninety-seven Augustinian companions and six members of the secular clergy. He was beatified on 28 October 2007 by Pope Benedict XVI.
