Who they were
In the prison camp of Angarsk in Siberia in Russia, Blessed Petro Verhun, priest and martyr, who, during the persecution against religion, remaining faithful in death, attained eternal life.

As a martyr he was raised to the altars without a miracle.
Why that counted as sanctity
The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 7 February as a priest who died faithful in the Angarsk prison camp during the persecution of religion.
