Who they were
At Shimabara in Japan, Blesseds Pietro Paolo Navarro, priest, Dionysius Fujishima and Peter Onizuka Sandayu, religious, of the Society of Jesus, and Clement Kyuemon, martyrs, burned at the stake out of hatred of the Christian faith.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 1 November as a Jesuit priest burned at Shimabara out of hatred of the faith.
