Who they were
At Rome at Saint Paul's on the Via Ostiense, Blessed Placido Riccardi, priest of the Order of Saint Benedict, who, though suffering from continual fevers, illnesses and paralysis, cultivated with tireless dedication the observance of the rule and prayer, also teaching others to practise them.
