Who they were
The decree on martyrdom records that she was born at Morella in the province of Castellon de la Plana on 20 September 1872 into a deeply Christian family whose four daughters all became religious, that she began the novitiate at San Martin de Provensals with her sister Josefa and professed there on 30 August 1892, and that after a time at Olesa de Montserrat she was moved to the college at Valencia, where she remained for the rest of her life. She was beatified on 11 March 2001 by Pope John Paul II.
