Together with him, tradition says, the three boys Urban, Prilidian and Epolonius, whom he had instructed in the Christian faith, also suffered.

There was never a formal cause: he has been honoured as a saint since before the Church's formal processes began.

The Roman Martyrology remembers him on 24 January as one of three boys who, tradition says, suffered at Antioch with Saint Babylas, who had instructed them in the Christian faith.
