Who they were
Primitivo Berrocoso Maíllo was born on 19 February 1913 at Jerte, in the province of Caceres, and made his first religious profession as a Claretian on 15 August 1930. The Dicastery's list of the Spanish martyrs records his death on 28 July 1936, and he was beatified on 13 October 2013 by Pope Francis.
