Who they were
Prudenci de Pomar de Cinca was born at Pomar de Cinca in the province of Huesca on 17 November 1875 and made his solemn vows on 6 February 1905; he was almost blind when he had to leave the convent of Arenys de Mar and look for shelter. He was arrested on 28 July 1936 and killed the same day on the edge of Arenys de Mont.
He was beatified on 21 November 2015 by Pope Francis, among the twenty-six Capuchin martyrs of Barcelona.
